It was a challenge getting to Muzdalifah and a challenge finding a place to sleep. We were fortunate enough to pickup sealed carpets and walk over to another site and camp there for the night.

I think we were one of the last groups to arrive at Muzdalifah at midnight, which turned out to be OK because we had more time to relax in our camp at Arafat (and use the bathrooms where there were no lines). I think our designated site #52 was full and so the driver dropped us off further down at #55. It was chaotic and we met nobody providing boxed dinners and sleeping mats but managed to find carpeted spots. I had a protein bar saved and fortunately someone handed me an extra sleeping bag he found and I already had an inflatable pillow.
It was 1am by the time we settled down to try and sleep. We’d decided to walk straight to the jamarat at fajr time and so we left at about 4am, stopped 10-15 minutes later to pray fajr, reached jamarat around 630, and were back at our Aziziyah hotel by 720 Alhumdulillah where the barber wasn’t too busy (hotel was just 20-30 minutes walk from the bridge). It was immensely helpful to get my head shaved, shower, and be in bed to rest up by 9!
Tip: If possible, use the bathroom and take bottles of water from Arafat to avoid lines at Muzdalifah. I managed to avoid them all-together including at fajr.
