  1. I stayed within the camp the entire time as I didn’t want to venture out and waste time walking to mount Arafat in the scorching heat (iirc it was about 110 degrees or more). Scholars and imams had recommended staying in the camp focusing on ibadah, dhikr, and dua in the camp. Workers came through multiple times with water, juices, and even some ice cream, particularly in the afternoon.

Tip for Mina and Arafat: the best time to use bathrooms to avoid any lines is when buses begin leaving

    1. Can someone please explain to me the purpose of beds and blankets at Arafat. Techinally we were suppose to get to Arafat around 9ish or so but unfortunately due to miss management of the tents at mina I believe maybe we were shifted to Arafat tent with sleeping stuff like beds and blankets …my previous Hajj in 2005 was a total opposite experience from what it was this year in July 2023. Alhamdulliah Allah swt is the only protector and was able to get through a lot of it safely, and we went from Pakistan to hajj with a group since we couldn’t grab something from here. But now I am glad we went with a group and an imam it was much needed.
